Question: I have a splinter in my foot what to do?
ok soo....last christmass i st5epped on a wood and i got like splinters...sooo my foot healed but the skin got thick you know and it hurted like something was poking me on the sinside i tried to open it last week butcher it a bit..i went to the docter and told him what i did i think he heard tht i already got it out..soo.. he gave me bactroban..and antibiotics but i think there still something inside i got like a a lot of red dots and black dots i removed allot but i dont know if theres still inside..should i just close the wound..?

Okay, first stop digging around in there, and keep taking your antibiotics. I'm not sure how big of a wound you are talking about, but normally you should clean the wound, put some antibiotic cream on it and then apply a bandage. You may also consider going back to the doctor and telling him you opened it up again and are worried about it so he can take a look for infection.
