Fever today after snowboarding accident yesterday?!

Question: Fever today after snowboarding accident yesterday?
I fell yesterday snowboarding (had my helmet on) and smacked my head on the ground very hard, then got back up and fell a few more time, hurting some muscles in my neck giving myself whiplash. when I took my helmet off my head felt very heavy and my cheeks felt like they were burning (it wasn't wind burn cause it wasn't windy)
Last night on the way home I felt awful after waking up from a nap and I felt like I was getting carsick and it happened again on the bus this morning, I usually don't get carsick unless I'm reading or something but I wasn't.
Tonight I feel horrible I can barely move my head/neck and I have a slight fever of 100.0.
Is it from the accident yesterday or am I sick? I'm worried.

Since you hit your head, you might have a concussion. Even though you had a helmet on, go to the doctor and get it checked out. Fevers usually follow concussion.

Hope this helps!! And hope you feel better!

You most likely have a concussion, same thing happened to me a few months ago and the same thing to my friend last year. I'd go to the doctors or hospital or something and get it checked out and if you really really can't, then at least go to the school nurse. Sometimes even small concussions can get worse and take a life.

CONCUSSION!!!!!!! I HAD 1 AND I FELT MY BRAIN MOVE.. I HAD A HEADACHE FOR 2 WEEKS I CRIED EVERYDAY LOL.. BUT THAT WAS A FEW YEARS AGO. YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP. DONT PLAY AROUND ITS SERIOUS...

go get it checked out,
you might have a concussion (those are common in snowboarding accidents)

go to the ER immediately
