Sleep Issues?!

Sleep Issues?

I know its the summer and usually your sleeping schedule gets out of whack when you're not in school. But this is kind of annoying.

I went to bed at 10:00, but didn't fall asleep untill 1:00. Woke up at 5 A.M. Went to bed at 7 A.M. Then woke up at 11 A.M.

It's not that I'm not tired. I'm tired, it's just that I can't sleep. I toss and turn.

My mom was supposed to wake me up at 4:30 (of course if I had fallen asleep at 10 like I wanted to, I would have had 6 hours. Close enough to 7) so we could go to the gym by 5. Apparently she asked me twice if I wanted to go. First time I said yes and second time I said I wanted to nap - But - I don't remember saying that at all!

Plus, I turn my alarm clock off in my sleep. Believe me, I've double checked my alarm clock a hundred times. I've checked to see if it worked, if i had the alarm on, if it was in the morning, the volume, EVERYTHING. And still I turn it off in my sleep.


Answers:

I had the same problem. Usually I exercise a few hours before bed and that helps me fall asleep. Also, chamomile (or any kind of hot tea) tea helps relax me. As for the alarm clock...put it across the room so that you're more aware that you're awake when you get up to turn it off. Hope you sleep better!
