Has anyone had experience with a broken fibula that won't heal?
It has been 5 weeks now and hasn't made any progress. And is now showing some displacement. The doctors at first wanted to wait before pinning, now they have changed their minds..

well it's off to the hospital with you........and recovery will take 6 months of more now..........after you go under the knife and get pins and you have to have a drain and everything ..that hurts...especially when they pull it out...but you should get morphine or pethidine so it takes the edge off.............good luck with it.
