How to stop and prevent runners knee?!

How to stop and prevent runners knee?

I ran cross country last year and I felt no pain but since I started running again my knee hurts after a run and the next Day. I think it is the muscles because the pain goes away in two days so I am sure it is not the bone but in August the practice is going to be everyday.so please help


Answers:

You need to work on the strength of your hip and butt muscles to take the stress off of your knee. Also make sure you have good footwear that provides support for your arches in your feet...if you dont have this then that can place stress on your knees.
