Bug on my cracker, I'm freaking out!!!?!

Question: Bug on my cracker, I'm freaking out!!!?
So I woke up at 3am dying for some crackers and cheese. I grabbed the spread cheese and the bagel chips (the last person to eat the crackers didn't close them all the way) and started chowing down.

I ate cracker after cracker, happy to be having a late night snack. I was watching TV so I wasn't really paying attention. When I got to my last cracker (they were on a plate) I saw a TINY SQUIGGLY WORM! I spit the cracker that was still in my mouth out ran to the trash and threw it out!

I took the box of crackers and inspected the remaining crackers to see if there were anymore bugs, and thankfully i didn't see any. Do you think the squiggly worm was the only one (since I didn't find any others on the remaining crackers)? Or do you think I may have eat more unknowingly, and if that's the case is that okay? Are they going to screw up my insides?

I'm FREAKING OUTTTTTTTTT

OMG! See a doctor right away!

Believe it or not, worms can live inside of you! Not your garden variety of worm, but close relatives. These worms live in your intestines / gut, and when you eat they eat by stealing some of the food you digest. The hook worm takes things further by actually painlessly biting into the lining of your gut and sucking blood to fatten itself.

I'm sorry to laugh at this but that's seriously something that would happen to me. LOL. I'm sure you're okay. People eat all kinds of bugs willingly and some unknowingly. If you get really scared, look up the worm and see if you can find any information on it. If you're still scared, wait a week or two and go to the doctors. I'm sure you'll be fine though :)

Meee

Yes, the one worm laid eggs on the other crackers, which you must have mistaken for salt. They will hatch inside your intestines and bore inside your liver where they will reproduce until they have reached a sustainable population inside your body. After the sixth cycle, they will become fully mature and mutate into lemons, giving you acid reflux for the rest of your life. AND TUMS WILL NOT HELP.

Go get it out of the trash. Call the FDA, the store, and the manufacturer of the product.. You must have the worm to show them. Unless, the crackers have been in your home for a long time and were not stored properly, then it is your fault and just eat a fried worm. humor is good.

You're fine. If it was the average regular worm then well, you just ate regular old worms. But if you're that "bugged" (sorry lol) than tell your parents and see what they think. If you think it's serious don't be afraid to wake them.

Buuuut I'm pretty sure you're fine.

That what happened to me with rice and chocolate. I didn't eat rice for a whole year. I dont think anything happens to your body though.

i wouldnt worry about it tapeworm or other parasites dont live in crackers so the only thing it will do will give u some good protein. ull be fine its all in your head

Should have ate it, Bugs, the other white meat.

What you found is known as a Parasitic Dupa bug (pronounced Doo-Pah) and You most certainly ingested more of them. They tend to live in packs and wait to be ingested by an unsuspecting host. These bugs are very Intelligent and if they realize that they have been spotted they will sound a very faint warning call at which point the others in the colony will hide. once ingested they will reproduce RAPIDLY producing potentially billions of eggs in about 12 hours. once the eggs have been laid they tend to hatch very quickly (about 3-4 hours) these larva begin to work their way to the brain of the host eating any and all tissue along the way. very little is known about this terrible parasite as the host usually dies within 24 hours of becoming infested. Once the host dies these bugs evacuate the carcass in search of another unsuspecting victim. There have only been 3 reported cases of an infested host surviving the dupa bug all of them survived by shaving their heads once they found out they were infested. for some reason the dupa seem to dislike bald hosts, scientists believe that this is due to a reduction in temperature of the brain cavity. the dupa needs a warm atmosphere in order to reach full maturity. I would say that this may be your best hope for survival. good luck.
