Is this medical remedy I heard practical? (left abdominal pain)?!

Question: Is this medical remedy I heard practical? (left abdominal pain)?
One remedy I heard, which I treat as a bit skeptical to be honest, is to drink a glass of milk, stretch, and then do sit-ups. There any truth in that remedy or is that just, well, quack?

If its a simple injury, milk is a good source of protein which helps recover muscles quicker. The second thing you need is rest, muscles and injuries heal quicker when they are resting so doing sit ups is not a good idea.

I don't see how that would help your abdominal pain as stretching and sit ups might further increase the pain. I would suggest rotating heat/cold therapy, ibuprofen, and water until you can see a doctor to find out the root cause of the abdominal pain.
