Ibuprofen addiction?
i have known this kid for a while and i just found out that like once a month for some reason he will take like 15 ibuprofen to run away from his problems or something? i know ibuprofen is a otc so can it get you high cuase he says he does it cause it makes him feel numb... is he lying... or is this what happens

It is possible that the pain-relieving effect of the Ibuprofen could also relieve emotional pain.
Ibuprofen is not a known addictive substance because it produces no endorphins.
However, the other answer is QUITE correct: Ibuprofen in large doses WILL damage the liver.
You might suggest an alternative for running away from problems:
do something completely NEW, silly, unreasonable (but healthy). Go-cart, take a hike where you've never been before, visit the Humane Society and pet some of the unwanted animals there, pick up an instrument and play it, even if you don't know how.
There are SO many things a person can do to 'run away' from problems!
