Health care?
Every time i see a health question my first thought is to tell the person to see a doctor. It has dawned on me as a canadian i would rush to to a hospital or a medical centre bercause it is free. People who ask questions about medical things is it because you dont have health care and cant afford the advice
or just dont want to see a doctor
Answers:
I think it is a combination of both.
Many have no or insufficient health coverage.
Also, to me, the American health care system seems to be set up for the patient to fit into a rigid system of medical records, insurance records, and pharmaceutical records.
It is not even possible to call the office and ask your doctor a simple question on the phone.
Malpractice phobia, an overload of paperwork, and a rigid system that leaves no room for 'health' in the jumble of 'diagnosis' does not inspire a lot of 'trust'.
