floating knee cartilage?!

Question: Floating knee cartilage?

ok so i have been having this problem for the last week now, the problem is that when i bend my knee often it seems to lock up and i have this terrible pain as if someone is trying to pull my leg of, i have looked on line and i have the symptoms of a floating cartilage what i would like to no is is this something to be concerned about?? ( should i go to the doctors asap?) i no that it isn't something that needs A&E obviously but it is getting worse like locking for longer.

hiya

yeah you should go to your doctor sometime this week just to check it up especialy if its giving you alot of pain! they will probably refer you to the hospital, treat you there or send you to a physio
