Should I run away?

tomorrow I have to get surgery in the morning and I am soo worried and scared about it because they wont put me to sleep just give me a drug. Im reeally scared of IVs and surgery...its called an endoscopy. Has anyone ever had this done? Tomorrow I might run away im 12...do you think I should? Ill get up at like 4 and just leave until 1:00 when the surgery would ahve alreddy started......idk what would you do?? Am I worrying too much?? Im so scared!

I got the endoscopy and it was totally fine! i didnt feel the iv go in and they put me all the way asleep. before i knew it i was done just extremely forgetfull and clueless and tired- thanks all of you its going to be hard to choose a best answer!!

No you should not run away. I know this is a very scary time for you but, trust me when I say this medicine will be enough.
The medication they use is really neat in that while you are not asleep it tricks the brain and you will not remember the procedure at all.
I not only have had this done I have seen many done as well.
Again, I know you are really scared but, trust me it all will be okay. The doctor would not be doing this procedure if it was not important so you really need to be strong.
