Knuckle discolouration and pain.?!

Knuckle discolouration and pain.?

My middle knuckle is red, and is sore when I put pressure on it. I think it was caused from me hitting a 40lbs punching bug with just leather gloves on. What is it? Is it just a bruise (It just looks red; and isnt swelling)? Its been like this for a while now, and I am wondering if itll heal on its own, and what would be some good treatment?

How long ago did you do this? If it is just recent then it could just be bruised and swollen, If the problem consists you really should go see a doctor. But i have had something like that before and it went away in a few days. good luck
