What is causing my headaches?!

Question: What is causing my headaches?
I have had this headache for four days now. It is in the back of my head on the right side. When it is really bad, I can feel it above my eye. I have tried motrin, Tylenol and allergy medication but nothing seems to help. Its not a migraine because it doesn't hurt that bad but it hurts enough that you can't forget about it. Can anyone help me with this?

Are you dehydrated? Some of the time headaches are caused by dehydration. Try drinking plenty of liquids (especially water) and see if it makes you feel any better. Good luck to you & hope you feel better soon.

Headaches are caused by tight neck muscles and having one you feel in the back of your head is from the muscles themselves. They go to the top of your head where they connect with muscles that go around your head. When the neck muscles pull tight they pull on the muscles in the head as well and when they run out of give there is pain where they attach to the head, the ones pulling for you are above your eye. To get rid of the pains you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Time to go see your doctor. Let them decide if its a migraine or not..even if it isnt they can still give you something to break the pain. They also may send you for some tests if this is the first time you've evr had a headache like this,to make sure there's nothing inside causing it.

medical provider and I have migraines

at the back of your where the spine meets your scull.take your two and apply pressure at this point for about a minute.hard pressure to the point that it hurts just a bit.i do this and it relieves the pain

Go to a DR. this could be a migraine! They can impair you for a lengthy time period.
