how do you know if ear drum is ruptured?!
Question: How do you know if ear drum is ruptured?
Answers:
I doubt it. It's usually the middle ear that is affected when you get a sinus infection.
The middle ear is connected to the back of the nose by a short narrow tube, the Eustachian tube. This tube normally opens when we yawn or swallow to allow secretions to drain from the middle ear. It also keeps air pressure equal both sides of the eardrum.
A cold or allergy can block the Eustachian tube due to congestion in the nasal lining. This prevents the normal flow of fluid from the middle ear. The fluid begins to build up often causing dulled hearing, tinnitus (noises in the ear), sometimes pain.
You can get a ruptured eardrum if pressure builds in the middle ear, but then you would have some discharge (rom middle ear) as well.

Here are the most common symptoms of a ruptured eardrum. Not all have to be present.
?Drainage from the ear (drainage may be clear, pus, or bloody)
?Ear noise/buzzing - can imitate tinnitus
?Earache or ear discomfort
?May be severe and increasing
?There may be a sudden decrease in ear pain followed by ear drainage
?Facial weakness or dizziness (in more severe cases)
?Hearing loss in the affected ear (hearing loss may not be complete, and does not have to be present)
Hope you are okay!
