What is the level of danger by which risk of death is increased when sleep medication is taken with alcohol?
I realize that it probably varies with medication; however, all labels say do not consume with alcohol.
Answers:
Both are depressants so taking them together can result in breathing problems etc. Because of the effects on the brain, everything slows down. As you stated, the type of medication would affect the actual risk..but there is a reason why that warning is there. Any risk is too much right?
