Pupils are different sizes?!

Question: Pupils are different sizes?
They both react to light the same, but one is a little bit bigger than the other. I have no other symptoms, and it comes and goes. Sometimes I look in the mirror and it is fine, other times it's bigger. I shone a flashlight into both eyes to see if they both are reacting to light and they are, but now my eyes sorta hurt and I kind of feel dizzy. I have an appt for a neurologist on the 28th of this month, but I am curious if I should see a neurologist or an ophthalmologist, or both.

Also two nights ago I did go to the ER for this and they said it was a migraine, but now it's not going away. They did a CT scan and everything came back perfect, I am just a little scared.

Answers:

That sounds more like a neurological issue than an opthalmological issue.

I'm not sure if you should go see a neurologist or a ophthalmologist but a few years ago i noticed that my pupils were different sizes also. Went i had my yearly eye exam my doctor said that it's no big deal and that it has no effect on my vision. They are usually different sizes when there isn't that much light in the room that im in. But when i'm outside during the day they become the same size.
