Why does my jaw hurt soo badly?!


Question: Why does my jaw hurt soo badly?
About 3 months ago my jaw started hurting really bad! Like it's only the right side that hurts. Anyways, the pain went away, but now it's back! It's hurts soo bad to open my mouth and bite down! What's going on?

It might be TMJ disorder, which is progressive, but not necessarily. You could be sleeping with your jaw in a weird position, or overusing the temporomandibular joints and causing them to be sore, just like any other part of your body might get. Don't worry, if it is TMJ disorder (which stands for temporomandibular joint disorder), then, although it is not cureable, it is certainly treatable. Some TMJ disorder sufferers hardly know they have it.
