My bone keeps cracking?!

Question: My bone keeps cracking?

Its a bone that leads from the top of my middle finger clear down too the elbow. Its the inner arm and if i move my hand a certain way it cracks and cracks loud and it is starting to hurt. What could this be? And if i go to the doctor what should i expect? Will he cast it? Take xrays or what. I am scared of doctors. Only serious answers please.
