Why does my sternum pop/crack?

Your sternum is attached to your rib cage( I know your very aware of this). Now ask your self what connects your rib cage to your sternum...JOINTS!! Its just your joints popping and cracking like your fingers. When you go to the chiropractor they often time will crack your sternum(I've had it done its not so pleasent). It is very odd that your sternum is cracking on your own you might want to go to doctor just to have them check on you but if the pain isn't that bad I wouldn't worry about it.
