How was your TMJ corrected?!

How was your TMJ corrected?
I don't know if I have official TMJ - but my Chiropractor said it is more than likely a form of TMJ or an accident involving my jaw. I am undergoing treatments with my Chiropractor - and I have noticed significant improvement with the very first visit.
Did you have your TMJ corrected, and how?
Answers:
I noticed a HUGE difference when I had my wisdom teeth removed. My jaw used to actually lock if I slept on my right side. Now, it doesn't.
I still get sore when it's cold and at times it feels like it needs to pop.
