What will happe if i dont do what the doctors say?
if the doctor tells me take my pants and draws off befor the surgery and i leave them on, will the doctor check to see if i left them on? and if so, will he take them off..???/ i hae already decided . this is a tonsillectomy, they wont be working on my lower body , so im leaving my pants on no matter what they say

I don't think leaving on your underwear is a problem.
It is the material in the fabric and spark and cause an explosion when they have nitrous gas in the room.
Surgical team have to be careful of what is allowed in the room to. Also do to infection. They have to keep you from getting a staph infection which could cause problems later on in the healing process.
Pants will have to go but ask if you can keep your underwear on .
