Knuckle EXTREMELY sensitive?!

Question: Knuckle EXTREMELY sensitive?
I hit a wall a few weeks back, it swelled and bruised and hurt to move. It's still swollen but not bruised, kind of hurts to move but if I just barely hit it on something it hurts reallyy bad. Just today I leaned my head against my hand barely putting weight on it and it felt like someone was like shoving a needle into the bone or something. Is it broke or what?

We cannot know for sure, but it might be a jammed finger. You can probably figure it out yourself based on the symptoms. Pain, swelling, loss of motion, and loss of strength are all very common symptoms of a jammed finger. Swelling within the joint is very obvious, and you can usually tell very easily when you have suffered a finger sprain.

One knuckle will swell up, and it will look noticibly bigger than the others. Unfortunately, this swelling often lasts for weeks if not months. Sometimes it never completely goes away.

Motion usually come back fairly quickly, depending on how severe the sprain is.
