Question: Pulled a muscle in right upper inner thigh doing gymnastics?
Owe it hurts I was doing a backwards roll on the beamand when I came down after I landed in between my legs I lifted my leg up 2 get off the beam and I feel a strong pAin so I sat down for the rest of practice and I took a Tylenol when I got home so today I tried another roll now I can't even lift my leg up without it hurting really bad so I used ice oday now I got a heating pad on it and I took A Advil I have a meet next Thursday and have to do 2 backwards rolls

Ideally you should get it looked at to see what the damage is - a physical therapist or doctor can advise. Do you have any medical personnel involved with your Gymnastic Group? You should talk to who ever is in charge. You need to know what to do for the best - whether to rest / have treatment and obviously wheteher you should do your backward rolls next Thursday (or has that just gone?)

1. Massage therapy will help.
2. Comfortable heat around the area using a heat applaince (wheat bag, heated in the microwave oven).
3. Rest and continued exercise of the muscle without pushing it into pain (gentle exercise)
