Question: Hangover symptoms that do not go away!!!!!!?
i got absolutely plastered on saturday night! i don't drink that much, and when i do, its not a binge type basis. I woke up not remembering the second half of the night(stupid, i know!) and got a really bad hangover 3 or 4 hours later. Today is Wednesday and i still have a headache and stomach pains. I take medication (Attacand, Amlodipine Bensylate, Citalipram, and Atenolol) for anxiety and high blood pressure. I dont feel out of it, but not 100%, i dont have any cuts, bruises, bumps on my head, so i dont think i hit anything. If i did, i think i would have recalled some part of it. Just wanted to no if the medication could enhance the effects of a hangover and if its normal to still be feeling the effects 4 days later.

First it can be extremely dangerous to drink, or worse get drunk, while you are on medications. The drinking will either change the meds, or the meds will change the alcohol. Each one will react differently. You could buy a small PDR book (Physitions desk reference) that will describe side effects and alcohol effects.pp
