Intermittent abdominal pain?!

Question: Intermittent abdominal pain?
Okay so for the last few weeks I've been having abdominal pain. It happens often right before I have to make a bowel movement. It feels like a sharp stabbing pain that spreads across my abdomen and gets so bad I can't even move for about 15 seconds and then wanes off a bit. It sort of goes in spurts. I'm not constipated because when I do go the stool is soft and normal shaped and I go usually once or twice a day the only problem is it hurts before and during. Occasionally the pain will begin in my lower abdomen and shoot up into my chest and is very painful as well. The pain is often worse at night when im trying to sleep or first thing in the morning. I have also significantly lost my appetite and have been losing weight. Every time I eat I immediately feel nauseous after and very full after eating only small amounts. I recently had a pelvic ultrasound done and they want me to come in to discuss my results. Is this a bad thing, should I be worried? Sorry for the length but I wanted enough detail, If anyone could help me out it would be very greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I don't just want to sit here and tell you not to worry! You must be feeling worried otherwise you would not have typed this message here. The sooner you go back to discuss the results of your test the sooner you will find out what is wrong. It could be something very minor but whatever is wrong the sooner you get your results the quicker you will be able to get some help. Once you get help you may find you have nothing to worry about. However, if it is something serious then the sooner you get help the sooner you will be able to get some treatment. I am not a Doctor and have no idea what may be wrong with you. I hope it is nothing serious. Be strong........you had the confidence to seek help in the first place! Pick up that phone and arrange to go in to discuss your results as soon as possilbe.I hope you will be feeling better real soon and that it will all be sorted out for you. I will be thinking of you.
