I'm watching my friends cat that used to be a stray until about two months ago and he just attacked me?

I have a cat, and my friends cat, who is normally peaceful, attacked my cat, even though my cat wasn't doing anything, just laying there sleeping. It wasn't the playful "just having fun" kind, it was full on teeth and nails DUG INTO my cat, so I went to pull the cat off of mine and it attacked me, sinking it's teeth straight down almost to the bone not once or twice but 3 times, plus it's nails did some damage, some parts of my hand look like they've been through the blender. I went and put some disinfectant on it, and bandaged it up, would that be enough? Also, any ideas on what I should do about this cat? I don't know what to do with it.

Oh yeah and I checked my cat out, and I couldn't find any bleeding, and she seemed to be fine, I don't think the other cat actually broke skin on my kitty cat.

They are being territorial and need to work it out. Our new to us 2 yr old neutered male drove off our 11 yr old cat she never came back. With your hand, watch it closely for infection, and see a dr if it starts looking ugly. you can catch diseases from scratches and puncture wounds. You may also need a tetanus shot
