I have a dull ache towards the back of my head, which prevents me lying on that !

Question:

I have a dull ache towards the back of my head, which prevents me lying on that side of my head, any ideas?

basically when i lie down on that side gradually my head starts to ache towards that back area, and so i have to turn over? i did swap my pillow over last night which seemed to help, but as i woke during the night i could feel it aching? i have a dull ache there currently, so its not just when i lie on it?
