Foam roller for IT Band?
I use a foam roller for my Iliotibial band Syndrome. When should I use it, how long should I do it at a time, and should I do it before I exercise or after? Do I have to warm up before using the foam roller? Can I use it before I stretch? Or after I stretch?

Also, when I ice my IT band, should I do the foam roller massage after I've iced it?

Do an active warm up (walking, biking, etc) for at least 10 mins, then stretch the IT band, and finish with ice directly on the painful area for 15 mins. It would help to stretch your gluteal muscles also....which attach to the IT band.
