Question: Stomach pains off and on? What could be the problem?
Hi for a couple of months now I've had really bad stomach pains. It feels tight in my lower stomach all around the bottom part and sometimes my whole stomach. I had gone to the doctor's but they didn't find anything wrong they took x-rays and samples. Should I go back to the doctors? I don't want to have to keep going back...but the pain is not going away. I am not throwing up and I am still eating right. It just feels tight and sometimes hurts to get up or move around and lay down it hurts too. I don't think it could be my period because I can tell cramps are different and this isn't cramps, this is pain. So any suggestions? Thank you...

I had something similar which started out as a discomfort in my stomach and gradually got worse. I went to the doctors, had the X-rays, ultrasound, blood tests etc and nothing came up even though I was in excruciating pain during these tests. I decided to give away drinking soft drinks (especially coca cola) and the pain faded away soon after. Now, years later, when I drink more than a can or two in the space of a couple of days, I get a slight discomfort in my stomach again.
