You can try slight elevation to ease pressure, you can also try cold compresses I would not use warm unless this is an old injury- NO MASSAGE at this point. An injury that significant may need a medical evaluation at your local casualty department - Or emergency room as we call them here in the USA
A blood clot has to be dissolved to get rid of it and that needs to be done under a dr.'s supervision.
