Question: Knee pain. HELP PLEASE.?
Last night during wrestling practice I hurt my knee. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, maybe twisted the wrong way, maybe dropped down too hard on it.

It was a dull tightening type of pain. I could walk on it right away and still can. But if I bend it too much it tightens up and feels stiff, if I bend too much too fast, it is painful, a dull tight pain.

If I kneel on it or bend too much the tightness is across the front and sides of the knee, but a much sharper pain goes through the top of my calf.

How bad is it? What is it?

Sounds like you twisted it or maybe pull ligaments or tendons (ie. sprained your knee) you need 'RICE' Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation and probably a week or 2 off from practice so it can heal. Go see a doc if it isn't better or gets worse! And in the meantime, take it easy, it'd be a shame to mess up your knees for good!



Only 1 person can you for sure what it is and that a Orthopedic Surgeon. but it sounds like you just twisted it and if you rest it you will be fine.
