My shoulder hurts I think for sitting to long on the computer, how can I prevent!


Question:

My shoulder hurts I think for sitting to long on the computer, how can I prevent the pain and cramping?

Am I sitting correctly? or is the desk to high? How should I be sitting? or am I on here to long?


Answers:

First things first, sit up, don't slouch as much as it might seem more comfortable, in the end...it's not.

Secondly, don't use the computer for long periods of time without taking breaks. Go to the bathroom, get a soda, anything...just move around at least for 5-10 minutes for every hour you are on the computer.

Third, make sure that while you are on the computer you have your mouse at a comfortable stretch for you. If it's too close, you'll cramp, if it's too far, you'll cramp...so either way you lose unless you have it just right for yourself.
