Chest feels full - but no cough?!

Question:

Chest feels full - but no cough?

I have a feeling like my chest - my lungs - are "full" somehow and they ache a bit. I'm not really coughing, though, and it doesn't hurt more to try to cough or to take a deep breath.

I'm not having "problems" breathing, other than my normal breaths aren't as deep. My temp is about 98.6, so I guess it's not Pneumonia or something like that.

Should I just wait it out and drink plenty of fluids or maybe call the doctor tomorrow for some antibiotics?

Answers:

Call the doctor. Probably not for antibiotics, though, because you don't have a fever. I would call because if anything with your chest feels out of the norm, then chances are that something is not right. You know your body best, and if you are getting a feeling that something is different, you cannot be too careful with your health.
