Is it bad im only getting about 6 hours of sleep everyday if im 15?!

Is it bad im only getting about 6 hours of sleep everyday if im 15?

i got used to going to sleep late, so now i dont get tired and cant go to sleep till like 1 AM. and i usually dont wake up till like 7. is this bad or should i be getting more sleep?


Answers:

When I was that age I had the same problem. I actually talked to my doctor about it. She said anywhere between 6-8 hours is normal. Your young though so U might need more sleep depending on how active you are. Try waking up an hour earlier than what you are now and not taking any power naps during the day. You should start getting to sleep earlier.
