The doctor can do blood work that will tell if you are dehydrated. A quick way to check if you are dehydrated is to pull a small piece of skin on the back of your hand. If it stays up and doesn't return to it's normal spot on your hand within 2-3 seconds then you could be dehydrated. This is called 'Tenting'. If your mouth feels dry and you are not urinating as much as usual you could also be dehydrated. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day to keep yourself hydrated.
