Question: Would a doctor be able to tell me if i am dehydrated?
Like is there a test or something they can perform to find out if i need more fluids?

The doctor can do blood work that will tell if you are dehydrated. A quick way to check if you are dehydrated is to pull a small piece of skin on the back of your hand. If it stays up and doesn't return to it's normal spot on your hand within 2-3 seconds then you could be dehydrated. This is called 'Tenting'. If your mouth feels dry and you are not urinating as much as usual you could also be dehydrated. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day to keep yourself hydrated.

yes very easily you can find out by your stool , blood samples , looking into your mouth

blood pressure

if your breathing erratically

checking to see if your flushed or have clammy hands

if your dizzy

and checking if you urinate dark yellow and only a little bit then your dehydrated but if its clear and alot your not



many ways that tell if your dehydrated
