I'm sore on my outer thighs when i do squats. is this correct or am i doing them!

Question:

I'm sore on my outer thighs when i do squats. is this correct or am i doing them wrong?

i have been doing squats for the last couple days because i heard it works great for my inner thighs. but i'm only sore below my butt and on my outer thighs. am i doing them correct?

i want them to work for my inner thighs and i feel no soreness there. is this normal. or am i doing them incorrect.

Answers:

you use your inner and outer thigh muscles to do squats and your outer muscles are just sore from the excerising. there is no problem!! you just have to get your thighs used to the workout!!
