How much damage would a splinter cause?!
Question: How much damage would a splinter cause?
i have a splinter in the heel of my foot i thought i had pulled it out but it broke and only got half out not knowing this i left it. its been a few days and i just noticed it in my heel no pain or anything no discoloration of the skin and no sign of infection. but the brown of the splinter is there. is there any possible damage or just watch to see if it gets infected.

not much, rinse it with poricide and get all the splinter out.
bandage it and it should be fine
