Clicks, Creeks & Grinds ..... Arthiritis?!

Question:

Clicks, Creeks & Grinds ..... Arthiritis?

I've noticed that a lot of my joints click or make a grinding sound when I move them - that's even after repeating after more than 10 times - does that mean the joint is arthititic or that it's more susceptible? ( I'm only in my 20s) Many thanks for any advice.

Answers:

No, don't worry, it is perfectly normal to have loud clicking joints, it is caused by a reduction in pressure in the synovial fluid in the joint, which lets air get in, forming bubbles which then pop giving the loud sound. Its nothing to worry about and does not mean you are any more susceptible to arthritis.

(If you did have arthritis the joints would be stiff, swollen and painful).
