I keep getting pins and needles in my left hand. What does this mean?!


Question: I keep getting pins and needles in my left hand. What does this mean?
For a while now i've been getting a tingling feeling in my left hand, down my ring finger, little finger and the left side of my hand and arm.
Does anyone know what this means?

Depends when this occurs. if it occurs because you sleep on it or a sitting on it. its due to nerve compresison from that .
however if you just get it in a resting neutral state, could be a sign of a more serious condition. get it chekced out.



As your profile suggests, you are active in sport. I had the same problem as you to the point when my left elbow starts to swell up after I sprinted (Random isn’t it). Most likely the injury is in your upper back. Ether it is overly tight or you might have some light muscular imbalance that is causing extra tension in your back and might be affecting a nerve ending.



you should go to doctors immediately.



Maybe you should get a nerve test, my mum did, she had the same, but she was algood.
