i think ive been bitted by a kissing bug aka assasin bug nymph what do these bug bites look like a picture would be extrwamly helpfull

BTW--they suggest that if you were bitten by a kissing bug that you need to go see a doctor!
Why? Some people are allergic to the bites and go into anaphylactic shock. I'm hoping that's not the case with you.
The other reason to seek medical care: in California, 40% of the kissing bugs are infected with Chagas disease (American tryposomiasis), for which treatment is most effective in the acute phase.
The bug bite has a characteristic look called "Romaña's sign," which is swelling around the eye. The 3rd reference has a picture of it.
