i'm going to get stitches removed from my wound tomorrow. does it hurt a lo!

Question: I'm going to get stitches removed from my wound tomorrow. does it hurt a lot when they take it out?
they didn't use an anaesthesia when they stitched up my wound. and it was pretty painful

Answers:

If you were able to deal with being stitched up without any anesthesia then having them taken out should be no problem for you. The most you'll feel when they take the stitches out will be a bit of a 'tugging' sensation but it's not painful although when I had my stitches out the skin around the wound was really dry and I felt a bit of a sting but it wasn't anything extreme just like a little pinch.

But no you'll be fine all they do is pull the stitch up snip it and then pull it out it's quick and painless.

Good luck.
