Question: I have a burning sensation under my thumb nail?

A little while ago i cut up chillis to put in my dinner and under the right thumb nail was burning like crazy, but it went. And i got it again last night (again with the chillis) and it won't go away, i can't touch anything, with it, or write or anything, i'm nearly in tears with it. I've washed my hands 4 times alst night, twice this morning, showered and washed up.

Is this serious or could it be just the chilli's?

I recommend you see an orthopedic medical specialist for your condition and have them perform a diagnostic test. That way, you can find out the nature & extent of the problem and a treatment plan can be formed.
