Should i talk to workman comp investigator for a job injury, or seek an attorne!

Question:

Should i talk to workman comp investigator for a job injury, or seek an attorney first.?

work related injury, employer trying to say its not job related, I pull auto parts for a living in a large warehouse. compressors, batteries, wheel hubs, altenators, radiators, cases of oil, tire rotars, etc. I have a partial tear in my rotor cuff, and its very painful.

Answers:

Oh, this is such a familiar story. More and more employers are becoming insensitive to employees claiming to be injured while on the job. You work your *** off for them everyday and then when you are injured, they want to turn their backs on you. Their only concern should be YOUR health and well being. If your employer will not cooperate with you, employ an attorney. It would do you no good to talk to the w/c adjuster, they work for the company-not the injured employee. When you hire an attorney, he/she will work for you. Then, hopefully, your company will realize you mean business and will probably change their tune because they will not want to be sued over a manageable work related injury. I wish you good luck.
