What can breathing in mold spores once, do?!

Question: What can breathing in mold spores once, do?
I was cleaning my house today and happened upon an old coffee mug that someone had left behind a bookshelf, the coffee had since evaporated but there was a nasty green mold left in the bottom. So, I brought it into the kitchen, put it into the sink and poured hot water into it. When the water hit the mold however, a large amount of green dust blew into the air out of the mug. I managed to avoid the initial plume, however when I approached the sink a couple minutes later, my nose and mouth were assaulted by the foulest smell and taste, I accidentally inhaled and had mold in my mouth. Which sounds disgusting, I know and trust me, it was. So my question is, should I be worried now? I know mold in the airways can be bad, and having breathed in some spores, I'm a little concerned. Is there anything I should be doing?

Your body will start producing Histamines to water up your eyes, give you a runny nose and start activating White Blood cells to fight the invader. Most mold is not that hazardous, they make cheese using it.As long as the symptoms are not too severe, you probably will only become uncomfortable for a short while.

probably nothing. most mold is harmless. the stuff you want to watch out for is mold in the walls and insulation.
