i have sharp pains below my belly Button?!


Question: I have sharp pains below my belly Button?
i'm 16 years old and today on 18/2/2011 i have had sharp pains just below my belly button it happens most of the time i walk and every time i lean on something it feels like i have got a big splinter in my lowwer belly and it is really hurting me.evan when i rub it, it really kills me.
does anyone have an idea of what it can be?
please help me.

i want to say cramps but im really not sure
that pain dosent sound like a cramp
i would suggest seeing a doctor because the sharp pains i was feeling ended up being a stomach ulcer
im not trying to worry you but im also 16 and had the same problem but mine was the upper stomach
you can have an ulcer anywhere so deffinetly PLEASE go to a doctor

below belly button is usually bowel...is it off to the side at all? As ovary pain can hurt too...otherwise do you tend to be constipated? Start drinking more water and of course tell a parent or ask nurse at school...may just need a check up

Hmm..could be almost anything - hernia,cystitis,ulcer,appendicitis,or period related.
I would get it checked out.

see a dr it could be anything from menstrual cramps to appendicitis

make an apt now
