How long does the person have to spend in hospital?

I know it's a minimum of a week, but like the usual time :|

I'm assuming that you have had your spleen removed when it ruptured. In which case your stay in hospital for about a week.

The recovery time itself is much longer and there are some important health issues if you don't have a spleen. Your spleen helps you fight infection.

7-10 days in hospital assuming that there are no other injuries that occured at the same time. Full recovery in 6 weeks.
