My 3 1/2 year old bites his nails. There are almost no nails left on his little !

Question:

My 3 1/2 year old bites his nails. There are almost no nails left on his little fingers to bite. What can I do

Is there an ointment or anything I can put on his fingers to stop him. I haven't tried anything yet.

I had the same problem with my son. I got a bottle of lavender body spray and sprayed it on his hands after he washed them each time. It smells nice and soothing, but the alcohol taste is not very pleasant. He stopped within a month. Good luck
