Problem with ear stretching?!

Question: Problem with ear stretching?
I've been stretching for a while and I actually know a lot about them.

I have sensitive earlobes and I have to take it really slow. I had a size 0g for over 3 months and I recently stretched up to a 00g. It was fine, for the first two days. Then today I noticed my left ear hurts a little? like if i shake my head and they move in my ears it hurts. It's not swollen, or red, or pussy or bloody it just hurts. I stretched with vitamin e oil, and I did it slow. I'm also wearing the tapers because I didn't get plugs yet.

Does anyone know if they're infected?

I personally do not have any piercings but my wonderful girlfriend has stretched her ears on several occasions. She says first and for most stretching your ears will always be painful, sometimes worse than others, sometimes better and then worse again. Start by damping a paper towel with some warm salt water and clean the areas around the taper. If that does not help she suggests upgrading to an ice pack and a couple of Advil. Unless you see some really bad redness and puss you should be fine. If this persists after 2 weeks, you should either see a doctor or your piercer...probably the later first as the doctor will advise removing the plugs.

Good luck,
