What does a puncture lung feel like?!
Question:
What does a puncture lung feel like?
I have heard that if say, you break a rib it is possible that it can puncture your lung, i guess this would deflate it and you not be able to breather, so therefore you would slowly die if hospital help was not recieved quickly.
Has anyone ever punctured their lung (but obviouslt not dies lol) or know what it would feel like, and how long it would be before you died?
Any answers would help!
BTW: this hasn't happend to me.

Since you have two lungs if you only punctured one of them and there was no bleeding it wouldn't kill you, but you would have severe shortness of breath, extreme pain, and you probably would be going to the ER.
