My eyes are burning. Why?
I went to go put my contacts in this morning and for a little they felt okay and then all of the sudden my eye felt irritated and it burned and watered. However, this is only in my left eye. I had to force it open and I took out both contacts but it still burns and has watered constantly since then, and that was about an hour ago. What could cause this and is there any way to help the burning?

Ouch; this has happened to me a few times. Hope this helps you: check the contact lens. If it is damaged/torn, a piece of it may still be in your eye. If this happened, use a mirror to try to find and remove the torn bit. Eventually the torn piece will make its way toward the edge of your eye and out. You can speed up this process by gently pulling your eyelid away from the eye and downward. Give your eye(s) a rest as well by not wearing contacts for a few days (wear glasses.)
